PROJECTS WORKED ON:
An automated Event Management system (2008-2009): This project was developed while I was in my third year at university and we were in a small group of eight people. It was intended to address the inefficiencies caused by the manual system of tracking event management records.
Personal Ambition
My long term ambition is to be a reputable, dynamic and responsible professional.
Over the course of my academics, I have had to make research on Business Management and IT related technologies like software and hardware industry especially computer networks, database management, Internet technology and Hardware operations among others.
SPECIAL QUALITIES
I am a good communicator and my understanding of both social and technical issues has enabled me attain positions of responsibility during my school days.
I am committed and a hard worker who aims at being flexible in working hours in order to prove my worth. I like taking up new challenges and can work without close supervision. I also enjoy working as a team whenever necessary in the organization. I am a friendly person and it is the reason I easily get along with people I have met for the first time.
I am also From March 2017 to October 2017, I worked as a Loans Officer with Development Micro Finance Kisozi Branch in Kamuli District.My duties and responsibilities remained the same as those in Bukungu Branch.
From May 2015 to March 2017 I worked as a Loans Officer with Development Micro Finance Bukungu Branch in Buyende District.
Managing the Credit Department by carrying the following duties at the Branch level.
• Appraising clients who have applied for loans and preparing their loan files.This involves going to the field, visiting the clients home,talking to the spouse,the Local Area Chair Person.
• Maintaining a good Portfolio by giving out quality loans after identifying potential clients and making sure that those repayments are made promptly.
• Disbursing Loans.
• Monitoring loans that have been disbursed.
• Credit education, this is majorly to new groups and potential clients who want to get on board (to do business with us).
• Developing daily and monthly reports which include the Outstanding Portfolio, Number of Clients, Number of Clients that I have given Loans, Loan Granted, Arrears Rate, Portfolio at Risk> 1 day, Portfolio at Risk> 30 days, amount of money in arrears which includes the Principal and Interest, amount of money that has been paid which includes the Principal and Interest.
• Participating in coming up with the Branch Budget which is made annually.
• I also come in to help the Account Assistant when he is in his Leave or just to volunteer when he is too busy.
• At times I seat in for the Customer Care at the Front Desk.
• I also perform the Cashier’s duties when she is on Leave.
• When the Branch Manager is not around, I manage the Branch.
• Forming new groups and encouraging them to save with an idea of improving their livelihood.
• I however used to help in managing the Branch’s Information System in case of any fault after being permitted by the Information Technology Manager at the Head Office in Sonde.
From of Jan to May 2015 I worked as a Supervisor while constructing Development Micro finance Bukungu building.
From 20th Nov 2014 to 25th Jan 2015 I worked with Sino Hydro Power Project Karuma as a Clerk in the Contracts Department.
Responsibilities held.
• Record the fuel that each truck, buldozar, catapila,generators consume on a daily basis.
• Making daily reports on the number of times each truck loads and offloads and if there are any stoppages,reasons as to why it happened. For example flat tire, fuel used up, or mechanical breakdown of the generators
• Making sure that fuel is not stolen from the trucks or generators.
10th June 2014 to 15th July 2014 I worked with Water Environment Geo Services Limited as a Data Collector for SNV Sanitation Baseline Survey.
Responsibilities held.
• Carry out questionnaire survey of households using a mobile phone software.
• Submit questionnaire to server daily.
May 2012 to March 2014 I worked with Altoje Computer World as an Assistant Information Technology Manager.
Responsibilities held.
• Configuring networks in TCP/IP
• Teaching computer application programs like MS Word, MS PowerPoint,MS Excell,MS Access,accouting using QuickBooks software.
• Network management and configuration of network equipments
