The RØDE Blimp is a complete microphone windshield incorporating a Rycote Lyre suspension system. It’s designed to:
• Reduce wind noise outdoors with its aerodynamic windshield and included “Dead Wombat” furry cover.
• Isolate from handling and boom-pole noise via the durable Lyre suspension, which avoids the sag and failure risks of traditional elastic mounts.
• Accommodate a wide range of shotgun mics (e.g., RØDE NTG1–NTG5 and other mics up to ~325 mm long and 19–22 mm in diameter).
• Use ergonomic design: lightweight skeleton handle with integrated Mogami cable and 3/8” attachment for boom-pole mount
