Key Details & Function
Mechanism: When pushed into the vehicle's dashboard socket, an internal bimetallic strip holds it in place while electrical current heats up the coiled resistor wire at the base.
Pop-Out Feature: Once the coil reaches the correct temperature, the bimetallic strip expands, releasing the tension and causing the plug to pop out automatically so it can be safely extracted to light a cigarette.
Design: It features a round metal cylinder body and an insulated, heat-resistant black plastic knob at the top to protect your fingers from the internal heat.
