Hyundai smart key shells (also called proximity key fobs or smart key cases) are the outer protective housings for Hyundai’s keyless-entry remote transmitters.
These are empty plastic + chrome/metal-trim casings designed to hold the original electronics (circuit board, battery, and emergency key blade) from a working Hyundai smart key. When the original shell is cracked, worn, or the buttons fail, you simply transfer the internals into a new shell — no reprogramming is required if the board is still functional.
