These are the keys you physically insert into the ignition cylinder and turn to start the engine (as opposed to modern “push-to-start” / Intelligent Key / smart-key systems that use a proximity fob and a start button).
Key characteristics
The remote electronics (circuit board, buttons, battery, and usually the immobilizer/transponder chip) sit inside the plastic head.
A metal key blade (commonly DA34 / NSN14 / DAT-15 profile) is fixed to or integrated with the head and is cut to the vehicle’s lock.
Common button layouts match the images you shared:
2-button (lock + unlock)
3- or 4-button versions that add trunk/hatch release and/or a red panic button
The shells are sold empty (no electronics or chip) so you transfer the working board and chip from a worn or broken original key, then have the new blade cut if needed.
