Carry out a variety of carpentry tasks in void properties, including the repair, replacement, and installation of doors, windows, frames, skirting boards, flooring, and other wooden fixtures and fittings.
Install and maintain kitchen units, cabinetry, and other wooden structures within the property.
Work with other trades and contractors to ensure all carpentry work is completed as part of the overall property refurbishment or maintenance plan.
Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations and building codes.
Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including reporting any further issues or required repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Work to agreed deadlines and within budget, minimizing costs without compromising the quality of work.
Liaise with tenants, housing staff, and contractors as needed, ensuring all work is carried out professionally and with minimal disruption.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are well-maintained and used correctly
Requirements & Skills
Certificate in relevant field
Good communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of colleagues, tenants, and external contractors.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Certificate in carpentry.
Good communication skills.
