Responsibilities
Acting as a point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle Identifying prospects and gathering information about customer needs Presenting products or services clearly and confidently Preparing proposals, quotations and cost calculations Negotiating pricing and terms in line with company guidelines Responding to enquiries and resolving concerns in a professional manner Coordinating with internal teams on product updates, promotions or technical questions Maintaining accurate records in CRM systems and tracking pipeline activity Monitoring stock levels or product availability when relevant Liaising with logistics teams or external partners to support order fulfilment
Requirements & Skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication is essential for building trust, presenting, and explaining product value clearly. The ability to truly understand client needs and pain points, rather than just waiting to talk, is critical. Confidently handling objections and steering negotiations toward a successful, mutually beneficial close. Identifying and qualifying potential new business opportunities effectively. Building and maintaining long-term rapport with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Managing a heavy workload, prioritizing tasks, and staying organized across multiple clients and deals. Maintaining a positive attitude, overcoming rejection, and adapting to different client personalities or market changes. Understanding the client's business, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to offer tailored solutions.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with the specific industry is often required or advantageous. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
