CANIMAG-P is an injectable solution for veterinary use, specifically for adult cows. Each milliliter of the solution contains:
230 mg of Calcium gluconate (equivalent to 21.4 mg calcium)
45 mg of Magnesium chloride hexahydrate (equivalent to 5.4 mg magnesium)
34.3 mg of Sodium hypophosphite monohydrate (equivalent to 7.4 mg sodium)
2 mg of Potassium chloride (equivalent to 1.05 mg potassium)
250 mg of Dextrose monohydrate
Dosage and administration instructions state that it is for intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (S/C) injection only. The recommended dose is 250-500 ml of CANIMAG-P per adult cow. The solution should be warmed and administered slowly, over a period of 10-20 minutes. It should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 30°C and used immediately after opening.
