Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) is a granulated field grade fertilizer with 18%N and 46% P205 used on a variety of crops especially at planting to ensure a strong root system and a good start.
Why use DAP?
This kind of ammonium phosphate compound is easily available in the soil, not easily leached hence easily taken up by the plants.
It is Universal - can be applied in all crops (Cereals, Vegetables and fruit crops).
This Phosphorus form is easily available for soil, also in water deficiency conditions.
With this compound formulation, excessive Potassium uptake is limited.
Default application rates: 50-75kg/acre (soil testing is however recommended).
