A halogen oven cooks in a similar way to main, electric fan ovens but can cook food up to three times more quickly. The heat is created using a halogen bulb and waves of infrared light that heat the air inside the chamber, which is then circulated by a fan to evenly cook your food. They typically have a clear glass container in a frame with a removable lid, to which the heating assembly is attached. Racks inside this hold your food and allow oil to drain off.
