This Alcoholmeter is calibrated to test ethyl-alcohol and demineralized water at 20'C. This instrument permits to know the alcohol content in a solution of water and alcohol. The current official unit of measure in the E.C. is %Volume. That means the % of volume of ethyl alcohol contained in a solution of water and alcohol. The scale is graduated from 0% to 100% . 0% is water without alcohol. It is used to measure alcohol content in distilled spirits/liquors not in fermented beverage. Handle it carefully, to have a correct reading, use it in a cylinder large enough to let the Alcoholmeter float freely. Read blow meniscus. We train both how to use and calibration.
