The Littman Cardiology IV stethoscope features excellent acoustics, including enhanced audibility of high-frequency sounds on the adult side. It has a tunable diaphragm, allowing for the detection of both high and low-frequency sounds. The stethoscope includes soft-sealing ear tips for a good acoustic seal, an adjustable headset, a non-chill rim, and dual-lumen tubing designed to reduce rubbing noise. The Cardiology IV also has an ergonomic design with a chestpiece that is larger than the Classic III, and the bell is deeper, suitable for both adult and pediatric patients.
