When you lie on a medical air mattress, it will alternate its internal pressure between low and high. Air mattresses have special valves (which are activated by a microprocessor) controlled by sensors located near each end of the mattress. These valves open and close automatically depending on how much pressure is applied to the mattress.
As soon as the pressure care products get too great, they close tight so that the pressure does not increase further. In case the pressure becomes too low, they open again so that the pressure relief increases. This cycle continues until the pressure starts increasing or decreasing gradually.
This ensures that the mattress remains evenly distributed during both sleeping and waking periods. It also prevents excessive movement of the body, thereby preventing unnecessary pain and discomfort. The ability o
