This is a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) prismatic battery module, constructed using individual blue prismatic cells compressed into a structured block.
These high-capacity modular units are commonly used for:
• Solar Energy Storage Systems (ESS): Storing power collected from solar setups, like the PV modules shown in the boxes behind it.
• Electric Vehicles (EVs): Powering golf carts, electric boats, or utility vehicles.
The module is secured with structural metal side plates and steel compression bands to prevent the cells from expanding during heavy charging and discharging cycles. It features integrated barcodes for inventory and cellular tracking, as well as an attached wiring harness used to connect to a Battery Management System (BMS) to monitor cell voltages and temperature.
