Drain Hose Connection & Gravity Drainage: This specific older chassis design relies heavily on a bottom-exit drain assembly. If it fails to drain, the mechanical drain valve actuator or the internal drain motor/bellows pulling the plug is usually jammed or snapped.
Drive Belt & Motor Access: Removing the lower section or tipping the unit exposes the main drive belt and capacitor-start motor. Slower spinning or a humming noise under load typically points to a worn-out belt or a dead motor capacitor.
