Replacing the Rubber Door Boot Seal (Gasket)If the machine was leaking from the door or the seal is torn:Remove Outer/Inner Clamps: Use needle-nose pliers or a flat-blade screwdriver to hook the tension spring on the wire clamps and pull them out of their grooved tracks.Peel and Clean: Pull the old rubber gasket off the lip of the plastic tub. Thoroughly clean the mounting rim of any soap scum, slime, or mold buildup before installing the new one.Align and Seat: Note the alignment arrows or notches on the new gasket (usually at the very top or bottom to match the drain holes). Coat the inner lip with a small amount of liquid dish soap to help it slide smoothly onto the tub flange.Re-secure Clamps: Fit the inner metal spring back into the groove to lock the gasket to the tub before reassembling the exterior panels
