When covering a \bm{60\text{ m}^2} roof area, choose based on durability, light transmission, and heat insulation:
1. Twin-Wall / Multi-Wall Hollow Polycarbonate (\bm{6\text{ mm} - 10\text{ mm}})
Pros: Lightweight, highly affordable, insulated internal air gaps reduce direct solar heat.
Best For: Standard carports and budget-friendly patio covers.
Est. Price (Uganda): UGX 450,000 – UGX 650,000 per standard sheet (\bm{2.1\text{ m} \times 5.8\text{ m}}).
2. Solid Clear/Tinted Polycarbonate (\bm{3\text{ mm} - 6\text{ mm}})
Pros: Heavy-duty, glass-like transparency, impact-resistant (virtually unbreakable under hail or falling debris).
Best For: Modern architectural carports requiring crystal-clear aesthetics.
