• Preparing chips, chicken, and roasted meat according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Ensuring food is cooked thoroughly, fresh, and served on time.
• Marinating and seasoning meat and chicken before cooking.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and cooking area.
• Washing and properly storing cooking utensils and equipment after use.
• Monitoring stock of ingredients and informing management when supplies are running low.
• Minimizing food waste and using ingredients efficiently.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Ensuring the cooking area is clean and ready for the next shift.
• Working cooperatively with other staff to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements & Skills
• Ability to prepare and cook chips, chicken, and roasted meat consistently.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, grills, and roasting equipment.
• Knowledge of proper seasoning, marinating, and portion control.
• Attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation.
• Ability to keep the kitchen clean and organized.
• Teamwork and good communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Honesty, reliability, and a positive work attitude.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
• Certificate in Catering, Food Production, or Culinary Arts is an added advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience preparing chips, chicken, and roasted meat in a restaurant, hotel, or takeaway.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as deep fryers and grills.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
