A PoE extender is a device that extends the range of a PoE network beyond the standard 100-meter limit of Ethernet cables.
It works by receiving both power and data from a PoE-enabled switch or injector and then regenerating and transmitting these signals to PoE-powered devices located farther away.
This allows for the deployment of devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones in larger areas without the need for additional power sources.
The device shown supports a data rate of 100Mbps and is compatible with AF/AT standards.
