The JBL Boombox 3 Wi-Fi can connect to Wi-Fi, and the regular Boombox 3 cannot. The Wi-Fi version can also connect to Bluetooth as well.
Sound
Both speakers produce similar sound, but the Wi-Fi version has Dolby Atmos.

The Wi-Fi version has a built-in powerbank that can charge other devices. It also has Chromecast built-in, AirPlay, and Spotify Connect
The JBL One app can be used to control the bass and other settings on the speaker.
