Larger size chessboard and pieces as it is easier to play with for kids and catches their attention.
The chessboard is made of cloth so it can be cleaned easily, and it is flexible so it easily rolls and fits in the cylinder, making it easier to carry the set around. another good thing about it is that when you unroll it, it stays flat, unlike thin cardboard or paper which would still curl up.
The chess pieces are contained in 2 separate plastic pouches which are nice, as each player can set up with their own pieces, and also keeps you from losing the pieces since the pouches can be cinched closed.
The plastic pieces are a little hollow inside, so their weight is not too heavy to carry around, with a storage bag. easy to carry, perfect for travelling, outdoor use...
