Game Type: Ludo is a classic strategy board game designed for two to four players.
Objective: The primary goal is for each player to race their four tokens from their respective starting bases, around the board, and into their "home" triangle, guided by the rolls of a single die.
Gameplay Mechanics: Players need to roll a six to move a token out of their base and onto the main track. If another player lands on your token, it is sent back to its starting base.
Origin: Ludo originated in India, with its history tracing back as far as 3300 BC.
Variations: Its popularity has led to the development of variations like Parcheesi and Sorry!.
