Zahabiya Soft Seal Special ZSP-1191 is a high-viscosity, acrylic copolymer-based mastic and caulking sealant manufactured by Zahabiya Chemical Industries. It self-cures at room temperature to form a flexible, soft gasket seal. It is highly regarded as a non-toxic, eco-friendly alternative to traditional, strong-smelling silicone sealants.
Technical Overview & Usage
• Primary Uses: Ideal for HVAC system ducting (both high and low velocity), civil construction expansion/movement joints, masonry cracks, window/door glazing, and automotive fabrication seams.
• Key Advantages: Air/gas-tight, water/oil-proof, vapor barrier, and UV/weather-resistant. Unlike standard silicone, it can be painted over and does not readily de-bond over time.
