About: Prestige Pressure Cooker Spare Aluminium Gasket - a replacement gasket for aluminum pressure cookers. The gasket provides a secure seal allowing teh pressure cooker to build pressure adequately, building steam to allow efficient cooking. A leaking gasket won't build steam and therefore food will not cook. Old and worn gaskets will result in excess steam leaking, longer cooking times and possibly cause it to boil dry. Features: Easy to fit. NOT suitable for the Stainless Steel Models. Made from hard-wearing black rubber. For use with all Meyer Prestige, ULTRA and HI-DOME Aluminium Pressure cookers.
