Chemical Splash Face ProtectorThis heavy-duty plastic shield protects the face and eyes from splashed or sprayed chemicals. Shield flips up when not needed.This lightweight face shield provides full face protection to the student or science teacher. The clear acetate window measures 8" high × 12" wide × 0.04" thick. Adjustable headgear has a tension control to hold the shield on the head. ANSI Z87.1-2003 (9.1) standards clearly state that “Face shields are secondary protectors and shall be used only with primary protectors” (i.e., goggles).
