URIT H12 test strips are disposable medical diagnostic strips used with a URIT Hemoglobin Meter to quantitatively measure total hemoglobin in whole blood. They use a dry chemistry, reflectance photometry method to convert hemoglobin to azidomethemoglobin and measure the color intensity to determine the hemoglobin concentration. These strips are for the exclusive use of healthcare professionals to diagnose conditions like anemia and are not intended for patient self-testing.
