Latrine Glupers is a Ugandan based company providing affordable sanitation products and services to all classes (people)households, specifically pit latrine emptying services to communities in Uganda. Latrine Glupers provide latrines and septic tank emptying services using both manual and cesspool trucks to service clients in Kampala.The gulper is a manual emptying technology that operates like a pump and is used to empty faecal sludge from pit latrines. The sludge is emptied into 200-litre barrels that are transported to the faecal sludge treatment facility using automated trucks. This business model is especially suitable for congested urban slum areas that are inaccessible by cesspool truck.
