It can be used at a small retail shop or a big warehouse or store.It is rechargeable and comes with a charger that is mounted to the meter head for charging. The meter head is where it displays the weight and also has the provision of price computing, where you can have pre set prices of items and it will automatically show the total amount of the product after weighing it. The platform is made of strong steel plates and can withstand any weight within the recommended weight. You should NEVER cross the max load of the weighing scale which can be seen under the plate on the load cell. The load cell carriage is usually higher than max load displayed on the meter.
