The chess board is currently set up incorrectly. To fix it, you should make the following adjustments:
Switch the King and Queen: For both sides, the Queen must stand on her own color. The White Queen should be on d1 (the white square), and the Black Queen should be on d8 (the black square). Currently, the Kings and Queens are swapped.
Board Orientation: Ensure the square in the bottom-right corner for each player is white. Your board is correctly oriented according to the algebraic notation (the 'h' file is on the right).
Piece Placement: Double-check that your Knights and Bishops haven't been swapped. From the corners inward, the order should be: Rook, Knight, Bishop, Queen, King, Bishop, Knight, Rook.
